Weekly Update #4 (Oct 25th):
By now I’ve finished From Below by Darcy Coates and can add it to my list of completed books. It has the same ominousness of typical ship-sinking and cave diving stories, but isn’t as final and devastating as Among the Living. Still, it’s a take on the “documentary crew explores something creepy” that I liked, and I’ve now moved onto When the Wolf Comes Home by Nat Cassidy — returning to an author I liked for his novella, Rest Stop. This morning I’m nearly a third of the way through this horror-thriller take on classic fairy tales and have high hopes for the rest of it.
