Here we go! I have successfully started my first book, The Beast by Katee Robert, which is the fourth book in the Wicked Villains series; it is a modern dark romance (I think?) MMF retelling of Beauty & The Beast. I think it counts as a dark romance, after seeing many Instagram reel book recommendations in the genre, so that’s what I’m calling it. I’m not very far into it, only about a chapter or two, but I hope to finish it soon!
