Weekly Update #2 (Oct 11th):
At this point in the month, I have finished Penpal by Dathan Auerbach and loved it! Very creepy and the perfect start to my October reads. I’ve also started Among the Living by Tim Lebbon and am about 75% of the way through it. This one is very reminiscent of The Thing (1982), telling the story of characters in the Arctic accidentally unleashing a contagion and trying to stop it from spreading to the rest of the world, while also being unsure of who is infected and whose not.
